Donyetta: Tell us about yourself! Where are you from and what do you do for a living? 

Dr. Shelia Payton: I’m Dr. Shelia Payton. I am a 20-year practicing chiropractic Physician and Functional Medicine practitioner. I'm originally from a small town in Georgia, called Valdosta. After graduating high school, I moved to Atlanta. I am a product of Clark Atlanta University, where I hold a biology degree and a concentration in chemistry. I later matriculated to Life University’s School of Chiropractic where I hold a Doctor of Chiropractic professional degree. After graduating, I traveled to Ghana West Africa with a team of chiropractors where I introduced the modality of chiropractic to that country. The next year I settled in the United Kingdom where I lived and worked between the UK and Scotland for 5 years. After having my baby in the UK, my husband and I decided to relocate to the US and the rest is history!
