In Memoriam Patrick Burnett

There are many words one could use to describe Patrick Burnett: runner, leader, brother, friend, etc. However, the word I use is love. Patrick showed the running community love by taking time to mentor and coach new runners and support and encourage experienced runners. I'm sure some folks became healthier and added time to their lives because Patrick introduced running to them. That's a cruel irony of his death. Patrick saved lives while losing his own life.
