The Boston Marathon | A regular ole’ runners perspective

Never in a million years did I think, in 2022, that I would have the opportunity to participate in the elusive, and wildly coveted Boston Marathon. Yes, I've been chasing those elusive 6 stars for many years now, and of course Boston was on my radar because you cannot be an Abbott World Marathon Major Finisher without it right?

I was saving Boston for last. I've completed the NYC Marathon many times, Chicago is just Chicago (no offense Chicagoans), and Boston is just that big of a deal. What American wouldn't want to secure their 6 star on their home turf? That was the plan, but as we all know, our well thought out plans don't always come to fruition. When opportunity knocks on your door, you kick the door down and answer it!
